"The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced a roster move on Monday. The team has placed defenseman Andy Welinski on waivers.
Fletcher made the move for the purpose of Welinski heading to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL. Welinski registered four points in 26 games last year for the Anaheim Ducks. Flyers have placed defenseman Andy Welinski on waivers for the purpose of reporting to the club's AHL Affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, today.
