While the Philadelphia Flyers were finally able to put a W on the board this week, it looks like they've taken another injury hit.The Flyers and general manager Ron Hextall announced a couple of roster moves on Wednesday morning which included putting two players on injured reserve. The team placed defenseman Brandon Manning and goalie Michal Neuvirth on injured reserve, the team did not release any details regarding the injuries. In response to that move, the team called up defenseman T.J. Brennan and goalie Alex Lyon from the LeHigh Valley Phantoms. Brennan leads the Phantoms defenseman with two goals and 13 assists in 17 games so far this year and had 60 points last year in the AHL. Fans will be excited for Lyon's first ever NHL call up, after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Yale last summer. He currently sports an 8-6-1 record with a 3.31 goals against average and a .894 save percentage with the Phantoms this year. Both players will be available to play Wednesday if need be.
