BREAKING Flyers Send Forward To AHL.

"The Philadelphia Flyers skated away with a 3-2 win against the Detroit Red Wings last night thanks to a beautiful performance from rookie goalie Carter Hart. Hart got his first NHL win in his first NHL start and was given the first star of the game. On Wednesday before the holiday roster freeze the Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced a roster move. The team has sent forward Phil Varone to the AHL. Varone had yet to register any points with the Flyers during the four games he suited up.
