BREAKING Flyers Send Forward To AHL.

"The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced a roster move on Wednesday. The team has sent forward Samuel Morin to the AHL as a loan to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. While Morin has been a dman his whole career, the Flyers decided to try and experiment with him at forward. The 25 year old finally got into the lineup recently but only walked away with a -1 +/- rating to show for it. He'll get some playing time while with the Phantoms to hopefully be ready if he's called up again. Are you surprised the Flyers didn't keep him on the taxi squad?
