"The Philadelphia Flyers are rolling along with five straight wins including back to back wins Monday and Tuesday night. Last night Anthony Stolarz shut out the New York Rangers and it looks like that means the end of the road for another Flyers' goalie. The Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher announced on Wednesday that they've sent goalie Mike McKenna to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on a ""conditioning stint"". The stint means McKenna doesn't have to go through waivers, and likely that the Flyers will try and move him soon. He helped the Flyers get themselves in the record books by tying the NHL record for having used seven goalies in a season.
The #Flyers have loaned G Mike McKenna to the Phantoms on conditioning purposes today.
