"The Philadelphia Flyers are one of the handful of teams that have kept busy during the quarantine and paused season. Philly signed their 2016 sixth round pick Tanner Laczynski recently and just announced another signing. Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher announced the team has come to terms with 2016 second round pick Wade Allison. ""We are very happy to have Wade under contract,"" said Flyers Vice President & Assistant General Manager Brent Flahr. ""He possesses a great package of size, speed, and skill and we strongly believe he'll be an NHL power forward moving forward.""
Bill Meltzer of NHL.com points out ""Wade Allison might have signed two seasons ago but had the ACL tear.""The 22 year old registered 10 goals and 13 assists in 26 games for Western Michigan University last year.
DONE DEAL: We have signed winger @wadeallison11
to an entry-level contract. Allison was selected in the second-round pick (52nd overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft and has spent the last four seasons with @WesternMichU. https://t.co/NoR0cJzUGP
