"There was some pretty significant news last week when NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that there would be two NHL games played in Lake Tahoe. The Colorado Avalanche, Vegas Golden Knights, Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers were all set to participate in the games. However now two of those teams have pulled out of the event. Friedman reports this week that the Bruins and Flyers are out and won't participate. "Boston and Philadelphia were given the option to play two games in Lake Tahoe, but decided against it." With the divisions remixed for this year to cut down on travel, it's no surprise that Boston and Philadelphia have pulled out considering the significant change in travel required for those games. More to come.
