"The Philadelphia Flyers had a terrible Tuesday morning as forward Sean Couturier had to be helped off the ice after a collision with defenseman Radko Gudas. The collision was the result of the Flyers for some reason running two different drills in the same zone.Following the collision Couturier limped his way to the locker room with trainer Jim McCrossin.Flyers captain Claude Giroux mentioned yesterday that it didn't look good and general manager Ron Hextall mentioned he had no update. The team held an optional skate on Wednesday and Dave Hakstol announced Couturier's status for Wednesday's Game 4. Hakstol wouldn't divulge much, the Flyers head coach stated that Couturier along with all other players will be a game time decision and wouldn't even reveal whether Couturier would take the pregame skate or not.
Sean Couturier is a gametime decision, Flyers coach Dave Hakstol says. He wouldn't say much more other than, "It's not about one player here." — Dan Rosen (@drosennhl) April 18, 2018
