The Philadelphia Flyers announced some injury news on Tuesday. Forward Kevin Hayes will miss the start of the season after undergoing surgery for the second time this offseason. This time Hayes underwent abdominal surgery and he's expected to miss six to eight weeks which could keep him out until mid November. Hayes had also underwent a core muscle operation earlier this offseason. Hayes registered 12 goals and 19 assists in 55 games last season for the Flyers. More details to come.
