The Philadelphia Flyers are heading into their third season under head coach Alain Vigneault and it's been a wild ride. During his first season in town, the Flyers finished with a 41-21-7 record before the season was cut short because of the pandemic but picked it up again during the playoff bubble as they made a serious push but lost in round three. Last year however was quite the opposite. The Flyers were a complete disaster as they finished with a 25-23-8 record and missed out on the playoffs and saw goalie Carter Hart kind of fall apart under Vigneault's watch. General manager Chuck Fletcher decided to be extremely proactive this offseason and make a bunch of moves and spend some money. That means all eyes will be on Vigneault throughout the season and NBC Sports has him on the hot seat. NBC Sports put together a list of all NHL coaches from safest to person in the biggest danger zone AV found himself in the danger zone. "To be honest, this probably depends on which version of Carter Hart the Flyers get this season."
If the Flyers get off to a very slow start during the first month, do you think AV will be let go?
