"Former Philadelphia Flyers fan favourite Wayne Simmonds has had a tough last couple of years. Injuries have been the major issue and he was shipped out of Philly by new Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher. The Nashville Predators had no interest in bringing him back after acquiring him at the deadline so he had to find a new home through free agency.
