Over the last couple of days we've heard some speculation regarding Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Samuel Morin. An original report from Anthony SanFilippo had Morin suffering a significant knee injury that would keep him out for awhile. Then reports surfaced that the injury wasn't that serious and he could be ready sooner than later. Flyers' general manager Chuck Fletcher was asked about the situation and commented. Fletcher revealed that Morin underwent knee surgery on September 10 and will be out 6-8 weeks. Morin played in 20 games last year and registered 1 goal and 37 penalty minutes.
