Chuck Fletcher Says No Plans For Weise To Play In AHL.

"It's been a crazy 24 hours for Philadelphia Flyers forward Dale Weise. He was placed on waivers on Tuesday and after 24hrs, the Flyers forward wasn't claimed by any team. It was believed that Weise was expected to head over to the AHL, however it doesn't look like that's in the plans. Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher announced this afternoon that the Flyers won't send Weise to report to the AHL and the team isn't planning on calling anybody up from the Phantoms. Can Fletcher pull off a miracle and find a way to trade Weise?We'll have to wait to find out.
