Claude Giroux Joins Bobby Clarke In The Record Books.

"The Philadelphia Flyers got a much needed win last night as they downed the Boston Bruins and their captain hit the record books. During the game captain Claude Giroux registered an assist and it was a special one as it put him in an exclusive Flyers club. Giroux joins Bobby Clarke as becoming the only Flyers to have 500 career assists in a Flyers uniform. The two assists he had last night puts him 501 in his career, still far away from Clarke's 852. Giroux can also crack the top 10 goals list with a couple of more as Rod Brind'Amour sits in the 10th spot with 235 and Giroux currently has 228.
