While some Philadelphia Flyers are resting up and healing their bumps and bruises for next season, quite a few of them are off in Europe playing at the World Championships. Sean Couturier and Carter Hart are both playing for new Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault as part of Team Canada. Couturier recently got some pretty cool news from his new head coach. The Flyers forward was named one of the two alternate captains for Team Canada. Kyle Turris of the Nashville Predators was named captain while Vegas Golden Knights' forward Mark Stone was named an alternate as well. Team Canada lost their opening game against Finland 3-1 on Friday.
