"The Philadelphia Flyers made lots of interesting headlines this week when they finished revamping their coaching staff. Alain Vigneault and Chuck Fletcher brought former NHL coaches Michel Therrien and Mike Yeo on board. Vigneault and Fletcher also decided to keep Ian Laperriere around to be part of the coaching staff. On Wednesday they revealed the roles for the new assistant coaches. Vigneault revealed that Therrien will coach the PP and forwards, Yeo will take care of the defense and PK while Laperriere will handle prescouting and will watch games from the pressbox, the former Flyer will no longer be behind the bench. ""This is about me bringing in ppl who bring different characteristics. I have total faith in Ian Laperriere. He is a true Flyer, and will do anything he can to help the team."" Vigneault told reporters by conference call ""Nobody understands more what's needed from an assistant than a head coach.""What do you think of Therrien, Yeo and Laperriere's new roles?
