The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher are expected to make some interesting changes this summer. Interim head coach Scott Gordon said one of the top needs for the team, especially if they plan to keep Claude Giroux on the wing, was a second line center. Gordon is heading back to Lehigh Valley next season so it's hard to tell what new coach Alain Vigneault will decide to do with Giroux, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him on the wing. The second line center solution won't be found in house and Sam Carchidi of Philly.com has listed a very interesting target. Carchidi mentions Nazem Kadri as the possible second line center solution for the Flyers. After being suspended during the playoffs for the second year in a row, Kadri's future in Toronto is up in the air with the team up against the cap and needing to re-sign Mitch Marner. Kadri is signed through the 2021-22 season with a $4.5million cap hit and at 28 years old is great two player. Before being pushed down to the third line and losing power play time thanks to the John Tavares signing, Kadri had registered back to back 30 goals seasons and was still able to put up 16 goals and 28 assists this season. Kadri is a gritty player who would fit in with the Flyers, he unfortunately crosses the line sometimes and has been suspended eight times by the NHL. Do you think he would be a good fit for the Flyers?
