"It wasn't the summer Andrew MacDonald was hoping for. It started off by being bought out by the Philadelphia Flyers and got pretty quiet from there. The summer progressed and not much interest was shown for the 32 year old defenseman who registered just nine points in 47 games last year. That all changed when the Calgary Flames received some injury news and announced they'd be looking for a defenseman. With not much out there, the Flames signed MacDonald to a PTO.If MacDonald does make the team it'll definitely be as a depth signing and likely won't get anything more than a one year deal. Do you think MacDonald has any chance of making the Flames roster?
