The last five days have been a busy time for the Philadelphia Flyers. From a two game road trip in the sunshine state that saw their head coach ejected and suspended for the next two games to Danny Briere's first trade deadline as general manager, the Flyers have been in the news pretty frequently the last week or so. On Tuesday before the Flyers defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-2 at home, Briere and the Flyers completed another roster transaction that saw a defenseman go back to Lehigh Valley.
Ginning's best season came in 2022 with the Phantoms as a recorded a career high in points, racking up 19 points in 68 games on 16 assists and three goals. Although it appears that Ginning was just filling in while the Flyers were bombarded with injuries over the past few weeks, getting some NHL experience under his belt is always good for young prospects, even if it is just for a few days.
