"The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher are getting some work done during quarantine.Fletcher has signed Tanner Laczynski while agreed with prospect Cam York for the youngster to head back to the NCAA next year. Unfortunately once again they couldn't sway one prospect to come over to North America. Once again Flyers' 2012 draft pick Valeri Vasilyev has decided to stay in the KHL and signed a two year deal with Amur Khabarovsk. The 25 year old defenseman registered six goals and five assists with Amur last year. If the lefty has the skills at 6'1 and 229 lbs he would be a nice addition, but as time runs out it doesn't look like he's ever coming over.
The #Flyers prospect news you (perhaps not) have been waiting for: 2012 draft pick Valeri Vasilyev (D) re-signed two years with the KHL's Amur Khabarovsk. (Flyers haven't had his rights since June 1, 2016) — Dave Isaac (@davegisaac) March 30, 2020
