In a complete disastrous game against the lowly Montreal Canadiens, the Flyers lossed 9-3 and have now extended their winless streak to 8 games. Many flyers fans felt the team was going to bounce back but this was far from the case.

This game was an absolute disaster for the Flyers. Their attention to detail on defence was an absolute no show as they let four goals in in 4 minutes during the second period alone. The team has been under fire over the last several weeks especially head coach John Tortorella as many have questioned whether the players have tuned him out.
Tortorella has made some rather controversial comments especially to his players as he mentioned most do not have a clue on how to play in games like this.
In any case, the Flyers look listless and now are facing the possibility that they will not be in the playoffs this year even though throughout the entire season the team was nestled in the third overall spot in the Metro Division. It's incredible to think that less than two months ago this conversation was not even happening and the team is scrambling lock up a spot with many still in the hunt.
With three games remaining, it's looking grim for these Flyers as they now face the best team in the league, The Rangers on Thursday April 11th. Game time will be 7:00pm Eastern.
