All Flyers fans know the top prospects like Matvei Michkov and Oliver Bonk, and for good reasons. Those guys not only have massive hype surrounding them, but their game is entertaining. Michkov and Bonk provide an offensive firepower that the Flyers have been missing for quite sometime and the hope that they could bring that to the Flyers has fans extremely excited. There has been one Flyers prospect, however, who has been flying under the radar but putting up insane performances in the net.

Flyers goalie prospect and 2023 second round pick Carson Bjarnson is currently in the WHL with the Brandon Wheat Kings and has been turning in one of the most impressive seasons by a goalie. Bjarnson has recorded a record of 20-12-3 with a .907 save percentage, a 3.03 GAA, and a shutout on the year.
His latest performance on Thursday night may have been his best one of the season yet, as he recorded over 30 saves in a win.
In the win, Bjarnson turned in a 31 save performance on 33 shots, good enough for a .939 save percentage. Not only is Bjarnson having a great season, but he has seen his numbers improve in each of his three years in the WHL.
In his first season, Bjarnson turned in a 882 save percentage on a 8-10-1 record. The nest season, Bjarnson improved to a .909 save percentage on a 21-19-5 record with 3 shutouts.
Bjarnson has stopped over 1,000 shots this season and is on pace to shatter his win record from the previous season. Have the Flyers also found their goalie for the next decade plus?
