As the Flyers season comes to an end whether it's on game 82 or during one of the rounds of the playoffs, it appears that general manager Danny Briere may be interested in acquiring Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua through unrestricted free agency.

The Vancouver Canucks will be facing a cap conundrum as the team will have 10 unrestricted an restricted free agents combined that may put a squeeze on their cap limit. This may lead the Canucks organization to cut Joshua loose which would give the Flyers an opportunity to sign him.
The 27-year-old centre has been with the Canucks organization for the last two years. Over the past 59 games this year, he has scored sixteen goals with 14 assists for 30 points and is a + 18 with 58 penalty minutes. His type of game would fit the Flyers vision as he likes to play with physicality and an edge that would help the Flyers on their second or third line.
With his final year ending and closing in on the all-time hits record with the Canucks it's highly likely the Flyers and other teams will be calling his agent to see if they can land him for next season.
