Flyers Linked To Preds' Defenseman As Nashville Continues To Cut Salary.

The Flyers were heavily attached to Nashville Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm at the trade deadline however the Preds decided to keep the defenseman for a potential playoff run. With the season over the Predators are looking to blow it up a bit and started tearing it down with the trade of popular forward Viktor Arvidsson for just a couple of picks. Nashville has opened up the phone lines on Ekholm once again and according to The Fourth Period, the Flyers have been linked to the 31 year old again.
