After playing so well during the month of February, the Flyers are 0-3-1 so far in March. They will look to snap their four-game skid at the Boston Bruins tonight. The Flyers could be catching the Bruins at the right time as they will be missing a trio of key players tonight. Patrice Bergeron is out with a fractured foot; defenseman Charlie McAvoy is on the shelf with a sprained knee and David Backes will be serving the first game of three-game suspension for an illegal check on Frans Nielsen of the Detroit Red Wings. Even with the injuries, the Bruins have won their last four games and seven of their last 10. Newcomer Rick Nash has been a nice fit in Boston and he has helped to pick up the slack from Bergeron's absence. The Flyers will need to figure out a way to start cashing in on the power play again. They have just one goal in their last 19 chances. Claude Giroux used a well-known expletive to describe how the unit played after an 0-for-5 night versus Pittsburgh. Alex Lyon is expected to start in goal for the Flyers tonight and he will be opposed by Tuukka Rask, who has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury. Rask stopped all 28 shots he saw in a 3-0 win over the Flyers back in December.
