"The Philadelphia Flyers picked up a huge 6-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Sunday, but it did come with a price. Forward Michael Raffl left the game during the second period versus Washington and did not. General manager Ron Hextall announced on Monday morning that Raffl will be sidelined for the next two weeks with an upper-body injury, so he will likely be out for remainder of the regular season. Many are hoping this injury would open the door for Nicolas Aube-Kubel to get his first NHL look, but that is not going to happen. Dave Hakstol has three healthy players already on the roster he can slide into the lineup during Raffl's absence. Jori Lehtera is likely to get the first shot at playing time and Hakstol still has Taylor Leier and Dale Weise at his disposal. Those hoping to see Aube-Kubel are going to have watch him in the Calder Cup playoffs or wait until training camp next fall.
