The Philadelphia Flyers are undecided on whether they'll be big players on the free agent market, while the team waits for July 1st, they've made some decisions on their own players. To start, the Flyers quietly signed Samuel Morin to an extension before the weekend, giving him a three year deal with an average annual value of $700k. Morin of course has suffered multiple injuries recently and won't be ready until probably midway through the 2018-19 season around January. It's a risk free deal for the franchise at such low cost and Morin will have plenty of opportunity to rebound. The team also made a big decision on goaltender Petr Mrazek as general manager Ron Hextall didn't extend a qualifying offer to the restricted free agent which means he'll become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. The Flyers did extend qualifying offers to Taylor Leier, Danick Martel, Tyrell Goulbourne, Robert Hagg, Reece Willcox, Alex Lyon and Anthony Stolarz. What do you think of Hextall's recent decisions?
