The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that Jamie Drysdale has been officially placed on injured reserve. This is an ongoing problem with the Flyers, considering the fact that both Ryan Ellis and Rasmus Ristolainen are included on that list as well.
After a left shoulder injury back in October 2022, Drysdale tore his labrum. The surgery left Drysdale vulnerable, and after a lengthy recovery he is left injured once again. With continued pressure on the Flyers due to this series of events involving injured reserve, speculation begins as fans question the possibility of a call-up.
