The Flyers took on the stacked Tampa Bay Lightning last night in a 6-2 over the former Champs. Even with an injury filled lineup, they were able to rely on call-ups such as Bobby Brink, who scored in his first game back with the team.
Coach John Tortorella was pleased with his team, saying that he thought they played well, even if he believes the Lightning had a better second period. He said they missed Konecny out there being as he is a huge part of their energy and scoring but the team was still able to find a way to score. Torts believes it will be tough to manage if Konecny is out for a long period of time.
