"Ron Hextall has been taking a beating for trading Brayden Schenn to the St. Louis Blues, especially when you see Schenn leading the Blues with 14 goals and 34 points while Jori Lehtera can barely crack the Flyers lineup.

However, it is way too soon to make a final judgement on the trade. Sure it looks lopsided now, but until the two first-round picks also acquired pan out, we cannot call it a win for St. Louis.

Morgan Frost was selected with the Blues first-round pick last summer and he has been on fire of late. Frost had an assist and a goal in the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds victory on Friday to help extend a pair of streaks. Not only have the Greyhounds won 16 straight games, but Frost now as at least two points in each of his last seven contests.

Frost has picked up points in 13 games of the Greyhounds 16 game winning streak and is now third in the Ontario Hockey League in scoring with 46 points. He was not invited to the World Junior camp for Team Canada, but could be added to the roster if there is an injury before the tournament begins after Christmas.
