The Philadelphia Flyers have been full of surprises this season. They find themselves in 3rd place in the Metropolitan Division with a 5-point lead over the Devils. This is after many fans and analysts had them pegged as one of the worst teams in the league back in the preseason. They have an impressive record against top teams in the league and have been getting contributions all over the ice.
Forester is one reason to believe in the Flyers future as he is only going to get better the more, he plays at the NHL level. He was out temporarily with an injury and then returned this weekend to score three goals in the back-to-back losses Saturday and Sunday. Through 54 games this season he has 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points, but as you can see from his ranking among NHL rookies, he is an incredible future asset for this team and is an important part of the core moving forward.
