We've heard the Philadelphia Flyers labelled as both sellers and buyers at this year's upcoming trade deadline. Earlier in the season before rookie Carter Hart started his domination, the Flyers were linked to Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick in trade rumors. Quick was labeled as the perfect mentor for Hart moving forward and a reliable backup, however once Hart started to take over, those rumors died down. Well, they're back. The Fourth Period has attached the Flyers to Quick once again in their latest trade board update. If the Flyers were to sneak into the playoffs, Quick would be great to have around. With two Stanley Cup rings not only would he be a huge mentor to Hart in the playoffs but an ideal veteran backup for the team. The ugly part for the Flyers would of course be Quick's contract as he's signed through the 2022-23 season at $5.8million per season. However he doesn't carry any trade protection so the Flyers could always flip him down the road. If it didn't cost too much, would you be interested in bring Quick over to Philly?
