Flyers centerman Morgan frost has had an up and down season with the Flyers this year after coming off a strong 2022-2023 season. This season, he seemed to have taken a step back which had not gone unnoticed by head coach John Tortorella who made him a healthy scratch numerous times in the first half of the season.

Now with the All-Star break behind us frost is trying to get his season back on track and he showed his offensive talent tonight when he was given his first penalty shot of his career.
Most players with streak in quick to try to deke out Karel Vejmelka. It was clear that Frost chooses the slower approach and with several fakes buries it past Vejmelka to ties the game at 1-1.
Over the past five games, his offence has reignited as he has put two goals and two assists for four points and has been a plus player the entire time. Torts is showing more trust in his game as he is awarding him more ice time where he played 20 minutes and 16 seconds against Arizona, the highest he's seen in quite a while.
Through 43 games, he had scored nine goals with 17 assists for 26 points and as a plus nine with 10 penalty minutes.
Hopefully for his sake, he is now cemented himself in the lineup and can continue to grow on this recent outburst of offence.
