"While much of Philadelphia has either called in sick or struggling through a hung-over work day, the Flyers were back on the ice in Voorhees this morning. The Flyers practiced in preparation for tomorrow night's game at the Carolina Hurricanes. They will sneak out of town before the Eagles arrive to a hero's welcome. Dave Hakstol decided to change up his bottom six as Taylor Leier was moved up to the third line while Michael Raffl was bumped down to the fourth line.

The best news to come out of today's morning skate was that goaltender Brian Elliott was back in the crease. The Flyers have just one point since returning from the All-Star break and they did get much help out of their goaltenders as Michal Neuvirth has been dealing with an injury and rookie Alex Lyon was a bit unsteady. Although Elliott has not been activated from the injured reserve list, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post says that Elliott is expected to start at the Hurricanes tomorrow night. "
