"The Philadelphia Flyers host the Vancouver Canucks tonight and for the second straight game, Shayne Gostisbehere will be a healthy scratch. Earlier today, Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault said that he hasn't been impressed by Ghost's performance so far this season and it feels like he's clearly in AV's doghouse. With only one goal so far this season, it's kind of hard to argue that he shouldn't be. After practice Ghost was asked about his situation. ""Mentally, when you're playing with a lot of crap in your mind and you've got a lot of confidence issues, it's harder to make plays & adapt. ....I've just got to realize how good of a player I am and that players like me don't grow on trees. I've got to get back to that."
Not exactly what you wanted to hear as the Flyers' defenseman doesn't sound too confident.
