The Philadelphia Flyers aren't exactly looking too good right now and there's reports that general manager Chuck Fletcher is receiving pressure from ownership to make a trade. One name that the team has been heavily attached to is Nashville Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm. We've heard reports that a deal to land Ekholm would like take either two first round picks or a first and some prospects or a prospect and player ready to play now. The Flyers have a deep prospect system so they would have some pieces to play with. According to Charlie O'Connor of The Athletic, this what a Flyers package for Ekholm would likely look like. A 2021 first-round pick, forward Jay O'Brien and defenseman Egor Zamula.O'Brien was the Flyers first round pick in 2018 and is currently playing for Boston University where he had 16 points in 15 games this year.Egor Zamula is a big 6'3 defenseman who the Flyers grabbed into their system. At 20 years old he's currently got 1 assist in 12 games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this year but has shown promise. Would you make this trade to acquire Ekholm?
