Flyers GM Daniel Briere announced today that as per the NHL, goaltender Ivan Fedotov will be eligible to play in the playoffs.

Fedotov was drafted by the Flyers in 2015 but has been splitting his time between the KHL and VHL for the last 8 years. This season the 6'8 goaltender put up a 21-22-1 record in 44 games with a 2.37 GAA and .914 save percentage with CSKA Moskva. Standing at 6'8, Fedotov will officially be the tallest goaltender in NHL history once he suits up for the Flyers.
"Ivan Fedotov will be making his NHL Debut wearing the #82, and will become the Flyers and NHL's tallest goalie in history standing at 6'8."
