From the "power kill" to having the most wins against top ten teams in the NHL, the Flyers have impressed and turned heads this season. After a strong win on Tuesday night against the Eastern Conference contender Florida Panthers, another impressive Flyers stat was shown that shows just how deadly this team can be on the offensive attack.

One of the most unique styles of coaching from John Tortorella's teams are the speed, quickness, and agility of his skaters on the offensive end. From the early 2010's New York Rangers teams to his time in Columbus with the Blue Jackets, Tortorella's teams are infamous for their speed.
After their 2-1 win on Tuesday night, a statistic showed why skating with speed is a key to winning.

The Flyers rank among the NHL's best on breakaway opportunities, ranking second in the NHL in goals with 13 and first in breakaway opportunities with 48.
"t's clear the Flyers' offense in transition and through the neutral zone is having a huge impact. Such play has created a ton of odd man rushes for PHI. Including breakaways. Refreshing from a team whose transitional offense was almost non-existent in prior years.
Travis Konecny added to this sentiment on Tuesday night as he netted a breakaway goal for his 23 goal of the season, giving the Flyers a spark in the second period after a sloppy start.
