The Philadelphia Flyers are in the midst of a heated playoff race and don't have much time left. Every game remaining is a big game for the Flyers and head coach John Tortorella emphasized that point last night in his latest must-see postgame press conference after the Flyers lost in overtime to the New York Islanders.
Quickly into the game, the Flyers found themselves trying to come from behind as goalie Samuel Ersson allowed two goals on the first six shots he faced. After Tortorella put in newest goalie Ivan Fedotov who put on an outstanding performance in his NHL debut, the Flyers still came up short in overtime in a game they desperately needed.
According to NBCSPhilly's Jordan Hall, Tortorella was only happy with one player; the goalie.
"One guy played: the goalie.I'm totally impressed. I put him in a hell of a spot and he's the only g*****n player that played in the 2nd period."

Tortorella did not stop there. After his club has dropped five straight, Tortorella went on to call his team 'soft' as well as call out players who aren't built for the big playoff moments.
"There are certain people that they don't have a clue how to play, or just don't have it in them to play in these type of situations. That was embarrassing in the 2nd period for the Philadelphia Flyers uniform the way we played."
In the past, when Tortorella has called out his team, they have responded. Will they be able to save their playoff hopes and respond with a win on Friday in Buffalo?
