According to various reports whoever the new Philadelphia Flyers general manager will be, he'll have a to-do list from day 1. Whether it be Chuck Fletcher or somebody else, whoever gets the job will be asked to land a starting goalie as soon as possible. It doesn't sound like Flyers management are happy with Brian Elliott and want to look elsewhere. Eklund of HockeyBuzz.com is hearing that one of the possibilities is Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings have had an up and down relationship with Quick over the last couple of years due to his injuries and the team is in cap trouble next year once Drew Doughty's new contract kicks in. Quick carries a $5.8million cap hit through 2022-23 and the Kings only have $5million in cap space next year and only have 15 players signed including Quick. The 32 year old had a great season last year with a 2.40 goals against average and .921 save percentage, however on the dreadful Kings this year he's only put up a 4.55 goals against average and .845 save percentage in four games. Do you think Quick could be the perfect solution for the Flyers?
