"It doesn't seem the Philadelphia Flyers search for a new general manager will be lasting too long. Yesterday Pierre LeBrun stated the Flyers were down to four candidates and with gathered intel from LeBrun, Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger the candidates seemed to be Chuck Fletcher, Mark Hunter, Chris Drury and Mike Futa. Well, according to Dreger it's one guy's job to lose. Dreger reports that the Flyers are currently meeting with Fletcher and it's basically his job to lose. The NHL insider adds that Fletcher's main objective from the get go will be to solve the goaltender situation and to land another top center. Two of the hardest things to do in the NHL. More to come.
Chuck Fletcher and Paul Holmgren meeting today. Sounds like it's Fletcher's job to lose. Goalie and center will be among priority adds for the new GM when named. — Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) November 29, 2018
