The Philadelphia Flyers hit the record books in a couple of ways last night. On a positive note, Flyers' defenseman Keith Yandle played in his 965th straight game breaking the NHL record and passing Doug Jarvis. It was a nice little moment as Yandle got some love from the New York Islanders' home crowd. Unfortunately that storyline was forgotten about as the Flyers dropped their 13th straight game and haven't won since December 29th. It's becoming frustrating and can't be too fun showing up to work anymore. "There's a lot of good to take from the game, and a lot of mistakes and it's costing us -- and it's not just one person. Starting with me. It's frustrating."
"It's not a fun opportunity, but it's an opportunity to learn how to win,"
"What we do from here on out shows character. Have to be proud to come to the rink, be proud to represent the Philadelphia Flyers. It's not a fun opportunity but it's an opportunity to learn how to win. If you're not (committed) to being part of the solution, you won't."General manager Chuck Fletcher is expected to hold a press conference today and we can only hope he gets pummelled from the media. What do you think of TK's comments?
