Looks like the Flyers will be holding onto Tortorella

The Flyers have been on an awful 8 games losing streak which caused a lot of speculation regarding head coach John Tortorella's job security.
TSN insider Darren Dredger announced that the Flyers will be holding on to Tortorella despite the team's poor play lately.«Torts is not leaving the bench.» - Dredger
The speculation around Tortorella's job security makes sense given that the team is mired in a 1-6-3 streak in their last ten and are currently chasing a playoff spot after sitting comfortably in third place in the Metropolitan Division just a few short weeks ago. - Cybulski
Despite the Flyers awful recent streak, Tortorella was still able to get a lot out of a team that was said to be a lottery pick team at the beginning of the year. Before the 8 game skid, Torts' name was even mentioned in Jack Adams conversations which is likely why Briere has decided to hold onto the Flyers head coach.
