The Philadelphia Flyers have been back in action taking up some skating with some players back in Voorhees. Some of the team remains at home in Canada, United States or Europe. One player that's happy to be back on the ice in Voorhees is defenseman Ivan Provorov. Provorov spoke to some reporters by conference call after practice and says he's happy to be back."I guess it feels a little more real that hockey is almost back," he said "Get back to the practice facility that we're used to skating in and working out and seeing some of the guys come in and spend some time together at the rink, great to talk and just catch up." The defenseman also revealed that the team was playing the best hockey he's ever seen them play since he got to Philly. "It was definitely unfortunate when the season was paused," said Provorov "We were definitely rolling, and like I said before, it was the best hockey I've been involved in in the four years I've been here. Hopefully it doesn't take us a long time to get back to that. I think the three weeks of team practices are definitely going to help."Hopefully they keep it rolling.
