Report: Five Teams Showing Strong Interest In Wayne Simmonds.

The Philadelphia Flyers made another roster move on Wednesday as they placed Jori Lehtera on waivers. It was a move long overdue and not just because of his cocaine issues but also because of his lacklustre play. New general manager Chuck Fletcher hasn't made any big moves since taking over despite lots of talk of a fire sale, but interest in one of his biggest trade chips is starting to heat up. On Tuesday NHL insider Pierre LeBrun reported on TSN that it's "more likely than not, they will still trade Wayne Simmonds if and when someone pays up with the right offer". The Fourth Period reports that there's five teams right now locked into the possible bidding war for Simmonds.According to The Fourth Period, the Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning, Vegas Golden Knights, Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators are all in the race to land Simmonds.
