The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher have been pretty quiet during free agency. However Fletcher might be pulling the trigger on a trade soon. According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Flyers are currently in discussions with a Western Conference team regarding a possible trade. Friedman reports that the Flyers are having discussions with the Arizona Coyotes regarding defenseman Jason Demers. The Coyotes are trying to shed salary and Demers only has one year left on his deal at $3.973million.
