The Philadelphia Flyers free fall continues as they dropped yet another game last night, this time shut out by the New Jersey Devils. If there was ever a game that was supposed to get the Flyers back on track it was last night but once again they failed miserably. The garbage season isn't helping anybody and it's definitely looking like it's having an effect on Ivan Provorov's game. The Flyers defenseman was supposed to take a key step in his development this season but instead looks more like he's just treading water. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that the Flyers are trying to bring in a former NHL defenseman to try and help him get back on track. "The Flyers are expected to quickly hire someone to coach the defence. We've spent a lot of time talking Elias Pettersson's struggles, but Ivan Provorov is another really talented youngster who does not look anything like himself. One rumoured possibility: Adam Foote, who certainly maximized his own ability." Provorov has 8 points in 24 games so far this season along with a -6 +/- rating. Do you think Foote could be a good influence on Provorov?
