Report: Flyers Interested Western Conference Goalie.

The Philadelphia Flyers and head coach Dave Hakstol were able to fight to see another day last night with a win against the Anaheim Ducks. It's a great start for the Flyers as they begin their west coast road trip and put an end to their three game losing streak. Chatter has snowballed about a major shakeup coming whether it be by trade or possibly Hakstol getting fired. Eklund of HockeyBuzz reports that it could be a major trade and not one that many expected.According to Eklund the Flyers are looking at Calgary Flames goalie Mike Smith who's in the final year of his contract. After a pretty good season last year for the Flames with a 2.65 goals against average and .916 save percentage, Smith is struggling to start the season with a 3.55 goals against average and .878 save percentage.
