The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher continue to try and open up some cap space to address some holes. It's not easy as we saw the Seattle Kraken pass on Shayne Gostisbehere, James van Riemsdyk and Jakub Voracek which resulted in the Flyers paying the Arizona Coyotes a 2nd round pick to take Gostisbehere and his contract off their hands. Now with both Matt Niskanen and Ghost gone, the Flyers really need to beef up their blueline and it sounds like they've got a heavy target. According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Flyers could target 6'3 224lb Anaheim Ducks' defenseman Josh Manson. The 29 year old is in the final year of his deal and might not want to re-sign with the Ducks as they go through their rebuild. While Manson isn't a point machine, he's a beast who eats up minutes. Seravalli adds that it would take a pretty significant package going back to Anaheim.Do you think Manson is a great fit for the Flyers?
