"With the Philadelphia Flyers 2018-19 season wrapping up and another failure for the team, Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has already started his offseason. The Flyers GM looks to improve his team and prospects for next year and is looking at one of the top NCAA free agents. St. Cloud State's Jimmy Schuldt was expected to join teammate Ryan Poehling in Montreal however has decided to sign with an American team instead. According to Michael Russo of The Athletic, Schuldt has narrowed his list down to five teams which includes the Flyers. The other four teams are the Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues, Vegas Golden Knights and New York Islanders. The 23 year old lefty defenseman registered 35 points in 39 games for St. Could State this year.
